Lecture by prof. PhDr. Petr Čornej, DrSc. will focus on the penetration of Hussites into northwestern Bohemia in the years 1419-1424. He pays special attention to the military actions of Jan Žižka from Trocnov (campaign from Pilsen to Chomutov and its conquest, siege of Most, battles at Planá and Vladař, control of Žatec and Loun), all of this in a broader historical context.
