The South Bohemian band Epydemye, winner of the Anděl genre award, is considered one of the most unique bands on the contemporary folk/singing scene. The band Passage has achieved many successes on the folk scene. In 2011, they won the Krtka award for 2nd place at the Zahrada festival, and in 2014, the band took 1st place in the interpretation competition at the Mohelnice Stagecoach festival. The band has participated in the semifinals and finals of the national Porta several times.
