An evening with publicist, music and film critic Jan Rejžek, who remembers his colleague, music publicist Jiří Černý, and plays some of the music that Jiří Černý loved. Jan Rejžek is a music and film critic, sports and theatre publicist, translator, also a poet and occasional actor. Few Czech critics and publicists are so often associated with the adjectives feared, ruthless, furious in the cultural consciousness today. He is also known for his civic stances. In 1988, at the folk festival in Lipnice, he introduced Václav Havel to the stage and did a short interview with him. In 1989, he collected signatures for the petition Nékolik vět. He is the recipient of the Ministry of the Interior medal for participation in the resistance and opposition to communism. The Galén publishing house published his memoirs entitled Is It You? The book will be available for purchase and signed by the author during his performance.
