Jaroslav Samson Lenk is a distinctive leading Czech singer-songwriter, musician, singer and producer. Creator of music and lyrics for children's television evening programs, presenter, a permanent fixture of the Czech folk and song-writing scene. This unique musician has been active on stages and in the mass media in various groups and associations, as a soloist or producer, for 44 years. Together with the group Hop Trop and Máci, he won the interpretative Porta six times, twice the author's award and twice the audience award. With Hop Trop, he is also the holder of the Golden Porta. He was declared a Personality of Porta 87, and was declared a Knight of Folk 2006. In 44 years on stage, he has performed approximately 8,000 times. And he continues to do so.
