The theatrical comedy "Jelení Brod" performed by the Strunkovický Ochotnický Spolok was based on the book of the same name by Jiří Hochman. It was written by Karel Matějka and directed by Roman Kyselka. In 1946, a mysterious explosion causes a Czech village and its surroundings to move into a kind of parallel world, into which other people from our world occasionally wander. The author's focus is on the contrast between the inhabitants of Jelení Brod and the newcomers marked by socialist thinking.
